Rotary Club Hits 'Bullseye' for Het Dennenhuis with Grand Darts Festival
KAPELLEN / BRASSCHAAT – On Friday, March 20, 2026, local entrepreneurs and darts enthusiasts will compete not just for the highest score, but primarily for a safe home for young people. On that evening, Rotary is organizing a large-scale Darts Festival, with all proceeds going directly to Het Dennenhuis in Kapellen.
Het Dennenhuis is a welcoming and essential residential facility for youth who, due to difficult home situations, have been temporarily placed in care. Extra support is urgently needed to continue providing these young people with the best possible care and facilities. Therefore, Rotary is joining forces with the local business community for a unique charity event.
Teambuilding with a Mission
The festival promises to be a mix of sporting competition and informal networking. Companies can reserve tables for 10 people, combining a catered dinner with an accessible darts tournament on professional boards.
"We wanted to create an event that is low-threshold and centered around fun," says the Rotary organizing committee. "Darts is incredibly popular right now, but the real victory of the evening lies in supporting the youth at Het Dennenhuis. For €65 per person, you have a great teambuilding experience and make a direct difference in your own region."
Registration
The organization is calling on local businesses, associations, and groups of friends to set their sights on March 20. A limited number of places are available. Registration is available per table of 10 people for the price of €650.
