Dear Rotarians,
We are only one month into the new Rotary year, one month
the new D2140 and we are out of luck because Covid-19 infections
increase exponentially.
This again limits our physical social contacts and makes us more dependent than ever on virtual meetings. Maintain mutual contacts via Zoom, Teams, Webex, Skype, etc ...!
Our district has been seriously affected in the province of Antwerp, hopefully we get out quickly. I call on all members of our D2140 with this message to strictly adhere to the imposed measures (federal, provincial, municipal), both personally and with the club, we as Rotarians have an exemplary function. Let us radiate and show this… also with this attitude we do 'good in the world'! We should certainly continue to fulfill our leading role as a service club in these difficult Corona times.
The better we stick to the guidelines, the faster we will again resume our normal activities.
Also stay attentive to the needs in your local community: stay "people of action"!
