In this way, people in need can more easily find their way to this good work and fill out a document to apply for support. People who want to make a donation can also find information much more easily about Lucia's work and how they can transfer their donation.
Lucia
Lucia vzw was founded in 1996 with the mission to provide emergency aid to families with small children and pregnant women living in dire poverty in Belgium.
Well-being and the development of young children (up to 12 years) are central.
Lucia annually provides financial support to more than 250 families living in Belgium.
This will enable approximately 550 children not only to be better fed, clothed, housed and cared for, but also supported during the early years of life, which are crucial for their development. Every child has the right to a fair start in life.
LUCIA wants to help the family out of the problem situation through timely and temporary financial support and good guidance by professionals from the social sector.
