On Sunday, August 19, the first youngsters of Rotary HEP's short-term exchange program arrived at Zaventem airport. Our chairman, Johan, and Isabelle have sacrificed themselves to pick up 7 young people on a Sunday morning (!) and bring them safely to the youth hostel in Antwerp.

These 20 young people from almost all different countries from the world will stay in Antwerp where the Antwerp and Mechelen clubs have developed a unique and diversified program of culture, sport and relaxation. The intention is to connect people from different countries, races and languages with each other in an informal way and to stimulate the interconnectedness between cultures through this program.
RC Antwerp.International invites them to visit Ghent in collaboration with RC Boom Willebroek. In the evening they are expected back in Antwerp to have a meal together. More details will follow as soon as known. Be there next Tuesday if you want to listen to their strong stories from first source. These meetings are always very interesting to exchange experiences or to know how they live and what their visions are on our country.
Don't forget we can also send young people abroad.
