No fewer than 9 members were present to participate in the meeting. Like every week, there is laughter and tugging, but 'ieder in zijn eigen kot'.
News from Rotary
- The first letter to residential care center 'Halmolen' has been sent. We are still looking for people from our club who will write a lettre to them. Please send all letters to Edwige.
- Our club is going to sponsor the kids from OLO and will offer 800,- EUR to buy craft material.
- The Human Mile will be posponed.
- The Rotary clubs of the new district 2140 have chosen Dominic De Gruyter as governor elected for 2022-2023.
- Our 'Casino Night' fund raising activity will be posponed due to covid-19. A new date will be fixed, presumably in October.
- The HEP (Holiday Exchange Program) for this summer, has been canceled.
Activity
We organized a small quiz. Everyone had forwarded one or more special items, and the others had to guess which item was involved. The objects can be found in the attached PDF. Needless to say, quite a few strange associations were made, which led to some hilarity.

Next week
Next week, we are again organizing an activity and hope that many members (including those who are abroad) want to take an hour to attend with their friends.
